First match kicking off 12:30 Saturday 20th. 💰 Entry Fee: €10 (Pay via Revolut or cash if you don’t use Revolut) 🏆 Prize Pool: % to the Jackpot % to support OMP’s running costs – helping maintain and develop our 15 teams, from juvenile to senior level. 📱 How to Join: If you’re interested, reply and we’ll add you to a WhatsApp group where you can submit your weekly picks. ✅ Game Rules: Pick one Premier League team each week – they must win for you to progress. OMP United – End of Year Party The OMP United Und OMP United – End of Year Party The OMP United Under 15 Blue squad gathered in Simonstown last night for a final kick-about of the season, followed by pizza, presentations, and awards indoors. It was great to see such a strong turnout once again at the end of a long season that began all the way back in January. A number of awards were presented on the night to recognise the efforts and achievements of the lads over what was a fantastic season: Top Goalscorer: Conor Mulchrone Most Improved Player: Greg Ledainis Manager’s Player of the Year: Darragh Dunne Players’ Player of the Year: Cody Skelly Gilbert We were also delighted to be joined by Alex on the night. Alex suffered a serious injury earlier in the season but only last week had his brace removed — another huge step on a long road to recovery. It was a pleasure to present Alex with a Liverpool jersey on behalf of everyone at the club, and we look forward to welcoming him back in the future. On a personal note, all the coaches would like to sincerely thank the parents and players for their excellent attitude, commitment, and support throughout the season. 🏆 U16 Major Shield Champions 🏆 A huge congratulat 🏆 U16 Major Shield Champions 🏆 A huge congratulations to our OMP U16s lads, who were crowned U16 Major Shield winners in the MDL on Thursday evening! 👏⚽️ It was a tight, hard-fought game with Johnstown putting up a strong challenge, but the OMP lads showed incredible attitude, teamwork, and determination to dig deep and get the win. ⚽ Match Highlights: * Matty opened the scoring in the 5th minute of the first half * Alex added a second goal in the second half * Johnstown converted a penalty after a handball in the box, the ball clipped Rian's knee but there was too much power in it to keep it out. OMP created plenty of chances throughout the game: * A fantastic strike from Adam rattled the post * Another great effort from Ioachim smashed the crossbar With the back 4 doing a solid job they kept the Johnstown attack away Final Score ended OMP 2 – 1 Johnstown. After finishing runners-up so many times in the past, the lads finally got their hands on their first piece of silverware — a brilliant and well-deserved way to end the season 🏆👏 A massive thank you to The Round O Bar for hosting the lads on Friday evening for the medal presentation 🏅 Thank you to all the parents for your continued support throughout the year, and to the lads for their hard work, commitment, and dedication 👏👍 Time now to enjoy the break in the season and the Christmas holidays 🎄 🇾🇪 ⚫️🔴 ⚽️

SFAI R4 U15 Kentstown 2–3 OMP OMP started the game SFAI R4 U15 Kentstown 2–3 OMP OMP started the game with confident passing and good control, dominating possession early on. They created several chances in the first half against a strong Kentstown side who looked dangerous on the counter. Despite the pressure, the teams went in at half-time scoreless. OMP came out for the second half on the front foot again. Ceilum broke through the defence and was tackled in the box, with the loose ball falling to Dan who calmly slotted it home. OMP looked comfortable throughout the remainder of the half and created multiple chances, hitting the crossbar twice and forcing several excellent saves from the Kentstown goalkeeper. However, in the final minutes, OMP were caught on the break and Kentstown equalised to send the game to extra time. In extra time, OMP continued to control the play. Early in the second period, Ceilum drove past three players, received a return pass, and finished superbly to make it 2–1. Minutes later, Ruairí slipped a great pass to David, who fired into the top corner for OMP’s third. Kentstown added a second with the last kick of the game. It was difficult to pick out individuals today as the entire team performed exceptionally well. The back line in the first half was excellent, cutting out any danger. Man of the Match went to our captain Adam, who led by example and organised the team throughout.
OMP U12 Girls – Presentation Night What an incre OMP U12 Girls – Presentation Night What an incredible season it has been for our OMP U12 Girls — the first ever girls’ team in OMP history. In their very first competitive season, these girls didn’t just take part… they set the standard. From the very beginning, they showed determination, teamwork, and a love for the game that was clear every time they stepped onto the pitch. They played brilliant football, grew as individual players, and even more importantly, grew as a team. Along the way they built confidence, built friendships, and created memories that will stay with them for years. Their hard work paid off in stunning fashion — winning the league with a game to spare. An incredible achievement for a brand-new team. Every single player gave everything in training and in matches, and tonight is about celebrating that effort and commitment. The players have worked hard all year, shown great teamwork, and made big improvements together. Everyone can be really proud of the season they've had. It was great to see the effort, enthusiasm, and enjoyment from every player in the red and black. Well done to all of our U8s for a fantastic year. U12 Girls Division 1 – Champions OMP entered the U12 Girls Division 1 – Champions OMP entered the morning knowing a win would secure the U12 Girls Division 1 title in their first year of competitive football—and they rose to the challenge brilliantly. They started brightly, with a clever through ball finding captain Anna M, who calmly slotted it into the bottom corner for the opener. Chloe L doubled the lead soon after, finally converting after being denied by mere millimetres on three earlier chances. Park Celtic pulled one back to make it 2–1, but OMP responded quickly. Anna D stepped up with a long-range strike that flew in to restore the two-goal cushion just before half-time. In the second half, Chloe L struck again to make it 4–1. Defensively, Sophia, Daisy, Cara, and later Katie were rock solid throughout. Up front, Ciara, Chloe C, and Ava C led the line superbly, creating numerous chances. Chloe C was in outstanding form, scoring two well-taken goals from play. In midfield, Isabelle and Anna M worked tirelessly, controlling possession and linking play. Freya was dependable as ever between the posts. Players of the Match went to Chloe C, Ava C, and Ciara, whose movement, passing, and creativity continually caused problems for the opposition defence. What a fantastic season for the girls—topping it off by clinching the league title with a game to spare! 🌟👏⚽
