Women’s football is thriving at OMP United. We’re proud to be playing our part in growing the game for girls and women of all ages in our community.

With female football gaining momentum across Ireland, OMP United is actively building the support, structure, and opportunities

needed to help the game thrive at every level.

In recent years, we’ve seen an incredible boost in participation from girls joining our Future Stars programme. Age groups like our U10 Girls have been showing real talent, energy, and enthusiasm on the pitch. Their passion is infectious. It reflects a wider cultural shift as more young players look to female athletes as role models and aspire to represent their club, and maybe their country.

At OMP, we believe in equal opportunity and representation. That’s why we’re excited to continue developing our girls’ teams. We have plans underway to grow our senior women’s team and provide a clear pathway from underage levels to adult competition.

Regardless of your experience, whether you’re new to the game or a returning player looking to get involved again, there’s always a place for you at OMP.
